Native font files are unchanged from https://github.com/google/fonts/tree/23e54b51ddffbc7713c583748e3bd86f62b1fa4a/ofl/amiri. All original notices and names are retained.

preview.woff2 is a lossless container conversion of Amiri-Regular.ttf, not an upstream native webfont. No outline, naming, character or axis edits were made.

Arabic text needs a shaping-aware application and correct right-to-left paragraph direction.

Install the native TTF/OTF files in desktop applications. The WOFF2 file is for web use. Exact font metadata and hashes are in SOURCE.json. coverage.tsv lists encoded codepoints for the preview face; language shaping depends on your application.
