Peanut Butter Apple Dunk
Peanut butter can be too thick to dip into straight from the jar. Yogurt loosens it into a creamy mixture that clings to a thin apple slice. Stir the thicker ingredient first, then add the yogurt a spoonful at a time.

Before you begin · grown-up check
An adult checks the setup, ingredient labels and task suitability, then stays nearby while the young cook prepares the recipe without heat.
- Together wash hands with soap and water and clean the work surface.

The skill you’re learning
Adding a loose ingredient gradually helps it join a thick one. Scrape around the bowl after each addition so no peanut butter stays hidden at the bottom.
Try one change
Replace the peanut butter with 2 tbsp smooth sunflower-seed butter if suitable; check its label and all other ingredient labels.
Serving & storing
Refrigerate covered at 40°F or below within 2 hours of preparation (1 hour above 90°F); use within 1 day. Store untasted dip in a clean covered container; keep apple slices separate.
