A relative oxygen budget

A teaching model of diffusion into an underwater air space. All values are arbitrary relative units. This is not a dive-time calculator.

Supply index = area × oxygen difference ÷ boundary thickness. This simplified snapshot omits nitrogen loss, shrinking volume, changing oxygen levels, water flow details and spider behavior. A balanced index does not imply an indefinitely stable bell.

Try doubling area, then restoring it and halving the oxygen difference. Finally increase demand. These changes isolate different parts of a budget.
